Fidelity Bank to Open New Branch in the Garden District

(New Orleans) – Fidelity, one of Louisiana’s most established banks, announced today the opening of its brand new banking branch in the heart of the Garden District in Uptown New Orleans at The Rink Shopping Center at 2727 Prytania Street will take place at 9 a.m. on Monday, February 14. Bank officials will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony to commemorate the opening.
Fidelity, founded in 1908, will open the doors this coming Monday to its new community bank branch in The Rink at the corners of Prytania and Washington Streets in heart of Uptown. The newly-renovated 2,100-square-foot space will focus on more personalized banking for a true Uptown neighborhood experience. A full grand opening ceremony with the New Orleans Chamber of Commerce and city officials is planned for Tuesday, March 22.
The new Garden District Branch will join other New Orleans local business in The Rink such as Still Perkin’ Coffee Shop, Eleanor Farnsworth of Latter & Blum Realtors and Garden District Bookshop. Both fully-automated solutions as well as full-service bankers will be available to service the needs of individual and business clients. Previously, Fidelity Bank has an ATM on-site at The Rink.
The Rink’s history dates back to 1884 when it was built as a roller rink and attraction for visitors to the Cotton Exposition.
