How Fidelity Bank Is Making Email Safer and Easier to Trust

By: Fidelity Bank
At Fidelity Bank, protecting our clients is always a priority. That’s why we recently introduced a new email security enhancement designed to help clients more easily recognize legitimate emails from us.
When supported by your email provider, Fidelity Bank emails may now display our official logo and a verified checkmark directly in your inbox.
This enhancement is made possible through a security standard called BIMI, which stands for Brand Indicators for Message Identification.
What Is BIMI?
BIMI is an email authentication standard that allows verified organizations to display their official brand logo alongside their emails in supported inboxes.
To qualify for BIMI, organizations must meet strict security and authentication requirements, including trademark verification and advanced email protection protocols.
In simple terms, it helps confirm that emails claiming to come from Fidelity Bank are actually from Fidelity Bank.
Why This Matters
Cybercriminals often attempt to impersonate trusted companies through phishing or spoofed emails. By adding verified branding directly into the inbox experience, BIMI helps people more quickly identify legitimate communications from us.
Benefits include:
Increased Security
- Helps people recognize authentic Fidelity Bank emails
- Reduces the risk of phishing and spoofed messages
Stronger Trust
- Provides immediate visual confirmation
- Reinforces our commitment to protecting client information
Better Visibility
- Makes our emails easier to identify in crowded inboxes
- Helps important communications stand out
What You May Notice

Depending on your email provider, you may begin seeing:
- The Fidelity Bank logo next to our emails
- A verified checkmark indicator on supported platforms
This feature is currently supported by platforms such as Gmail and Apple Mail, with visibility varying by provider and device.
A Helpful Security Tool — But Stay Vigilant
While verified branding is an added layer of protection, it’s still important to practice good email safety habits.
Always be cautious of unexpected links, urgent requests for sensitive information, or suspicious messages — even if an email appears legitimate.
Remember:
Fidelity Bank employees will never ask for sensitive information like passwords, secure access codes, or full debit card PINs through email or unsolicited phone calls.
Continuing to Invest in Client Protection
This enhancement is one more way Fidelity Bank continues investing in technology and security tools that help protect our clients while improving the banking experience.
Because being Here For Good also means helping our clients feel confident and secure every time they interact with us.
