Burton Transportation and Concierge Company is a family-owned transportation company based in New Orleans, founded by siblings Ashley Burton and Nelson Burton Jr.

Their journey into the transportation business was inspired by a personal experience when their mother, Myrtis Burton, was ill and they faced challenges in transporting her to doctor's appointments while they were away at college. This experience highlighted the need for nonemergency medical transportation services for families in New Orleans.

In memory of their mother and her joyful spirit, the Burtons chose a vibrant orange as the brand color for Burton Transit. This color choice serves as a tribute to Myrtis and her positive outlook on life.

In addition to their non-emergency medical transportation services, Ashley and Nelson expanded their offerings by launching Burton Transit: Limo & Airport Shuttle Service. This expansion was aimed at serving both tourists and locals in New Orleans, recognizing the city's status as one of the top tourist destinations in the world. Through their transportation services, they aim to provide a unique and memorable experience to visitors and offer convenience to residents of the Crescent City.

Following their successful launch in New Orleans, Burton Transit quickly garnered the attention and demand of clients who expressed the need for their services in other cities. As a result of this growing demand, Burton Transit embarked on an expansion journey that extended its reach to key metropolitan areas, including Nashville, Atlanta, Seattle, and Charlotte.
