GB2 stand for God Bless, Give Back Athletics. The GB2 Athletic Foundation is a newly organized non-profit organization aimed at strengthening communities by offering schools throughout Louisiana various platforms of which to expand and grow their athletic programs for students. It started three years ago hosting a football skills camp for area youth at Lakeshore High School in St Tammany Parish where current and former NFL, College, and High School players and coaches “gave back” and has grown tremendously. Today GB2 is expanding its efforts to aid athletic departments who have that same expanding vision and want to build, expand, or improve their current programs and facilities to better serve their athletes needs to grow and become exceptional people and leaders of tomorrow.

This year GB2 Athletic Foundation is hosting two events to raise money for those athletic programs throughout Louisiana. First, Clays for A Cause, a Sporting Clay Tournament and Raffle Friday April 26, at Covey Rise Lodge near Hammond, La. where you can team up with notable sports celebrities like Pro Football Hall of Famers Alan Faneca and Dave Casper, College Football, New England Patriot, and LSU Football Hall of Famer Kevin Faulk and many more. These legends along with others will also be “giving back” their knowledge and experience to any football player ages 7th-12th grade at the annual GB2 Football Skills Camp Saturday April 27 at the Mandeville High School Football Stadium. 100% of net proceeds from both events will be donated to this year’s host school, Mandeville High as well as other area high school athletic departments across St. Tammany and South Louisiana.
