Fidelity Bank and NOLA Lending Group will again participate in the annual Habitat for Humanity’s Women Build event later this month in New Orleans. The bank has supported the Women Build event since the inaugural build in 2017. 

What is Habitat for Humanity Women Build?

Women Build is an annual event where women of all ages, backgrounds, and industries come together to build homes and make a powerful and visible impact on our community through housing and neighborhood revitalization efforts. New Orleans Area Habitat for Humanity provides affordable home ownership opportunities to low-and very low-income families, as well as preservation opportunities to our community's elderly and veteran populations. We are dedicated to empowerment, not entitlement, and bringing people together to build and repair homes, hope, and community.

The Fidelity/NOLA team build day is May 19^th from 8:00am-3:00pm. Nearly 60 employees and P.O.W.E.R. clients will join together on the 2022 WOMEN WITH P.O.W.E.R. Tools team to build a home in the Greater New Orleans region.

To support the WOMEN WITH P.O.W.E.R. Tools team, donations can be made via a secure online donation website supported by Habitat for Humanity, or checks can be mailed.

Funds raised will support building new homes for low-income working families in the New Orleans region, as well as rehabilitation and preservation efforts for our community's vulnerable elderly, low-income, and veteran homeowners.
