New Orleans Chamber to Host Women's Leadership Conference

NEW ORLEANS – From the New Orleans Chamber of Commerce:

The chamber will host its fifth annual Power Up: Women’s Leadership Conference on June 6 at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.

Sponsored by Fidelity Bank P.O.W.E.R. (Potential of Women Entrepreneurs Realized), the conference is designed to connect like-minded businesswomen and provide opportunities to accelerate their professional development with two keynotes, multiple breakout sessions and networking opportunities. Women’s organizations throughout the region from diverse backgrounds, the Network Partners, will come together for the conference to support and provide resources to all women.

“The New Orleans Chamber and Fidelity Bank P.O.W.E.R are working diligently to ensure that the Power Up: Women’s Leadership Conference is an experience that businesswomen walk away from with more connections and resources to support their endeavors,” said Sandra Lombana Lindquist, New Orleans Chamber of Commerce’s president and CEO. “Each year it’s grown in awareness and attendance. In 2024, we anticipate over 700 attendees to keep the momentum going.”

Sixteen breakout sessions, moderated by the Network Partners, will cover topics such as handling difficult conversations, managing others, career transitions, time management, communication skills and goal setting. The POWERHOUSE Women – a series of short, impactful talks featuring dynamic women from diverse industries will be the lunch keynote sponsored by Fidelity Bank P.O.W.E.R. Attendees will discover these speakers’ passions, hear their stories and gain practical insights to fuel their own career journey.

“Fidelity Bank P.O.W.E.R. recognizes the invaluable contributions of women in business and is committed to supporting their growth and success. The Power Up: Women’s Leadership Conference has become the premier conference for women leaders and has made a significant impact.
